Dani first began studying, working, and interning with the eating disorder population in 2013 while attending Purdue University where she dual majored in Dietetics & Nutrition and Fitness & Health. She focused her dietetic studies on Eating Disorders and interned at a local ED private practice during her time at Purdue. Dani went on to complete her Dietetic Internship at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN where she focused and specialized in Eating Disorders. Since being a dietitian, Dani has worked in 2 eating disorder treatment centers and is experienced treating clients at all levels of care and severity.
As a weight inclusive and non-diet dietitian, Dani uses principles from intuitive eating and HAES (Health at Every Size) approaches while focusing on the important behavioral shifts needed in order to work towards long-lasting recovery. She truly believes everyone would benefit from looking at nutrition from a non-diet lens, having seen the damage diet culture has done to the world. She is extremely passionate about individualized care and believes in working hard to build relationships with her clients, which ultimately affords her the ability to best help and care for them throughout their Eating Disorder Recovery journey.

My best friend had an eating disorder all through middle school and high school and would always talk about how much she loved her dietitian!
Either a stand up comedian or a professional pimple popper.
I want to help clients reach their own individual goals. Whether that is independence, graduating school, food and body freedom or to be able to eat at a restaurant with their friends, I am here to help you achieve the goals the eating disorder is getting in the way of.
Running, eating at new restaurants, hanging out with my friends and family, FaceTiming my nieces, and walking my 14 year old Husky Mia with my husband.
I started my undergraduate studies in food engineering!
During undergrad and my dietetic internship I interned at a private practice in Indiana and multiple ED treatment centers in Nashville and St. Louis. After becoming a dietitian in 2017, I began working at The Ranch Recovery Center outside of Nashville at their residential eating disorder program. I worked at the Ranch for a year and decided I wanted to move back to St. Louis to be closer to my family. I then worked at Castlewood/Alsana for 4.5 years. I worked in residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care during my time at Castlewood/Alsana. At the start of COVID, I saw how detrimental it was to people’s recovery and getting help was very difficult due to the circumstances of the pandemic. In addition to my treatment job, I began seeing clients on an outpatient level and have been working with clients outpatient since 2020.
