Shaul Austin M.Ed, LPC, CPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years treating Eating Disorders, Trauma, & Addiction. He has an M.Ed in Counseling from Northern Arizona University and is certified in Post Induction Therapy (PIT) and EMDR trained with a license to treat clients in Arizona, Nevada, and Louisiana. 

Shaul has held a variety of leadership positions and is held in extremely high regard in the eating disorder treatment community. Some of these roles have been as the:

  • Program Director at The Meadows Ranch
  • Clinical Director of Training and Program Development at The Palm Beach Institute
  • Clinical Director of Acute Care Services at Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders
  • Adjunct Faculty (Counseling Department) at Webster University, The Netherlands
  • Assistant Professor (bio-behavioral science) at Louisiana State University School of Medicine-New Orleans

Shaul is passionate about providing help and hope to those impacted by trauma and addictions. He believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship, and sees this healing connection as a vital role in individual and relational health. His therapeutic style draws from an eclectic blend of theory and creativity. Shaul works to blend interpersonal and cognitive behavioral approaches while focusing on meeting the needs of individuals and families.
