In 2017 after working for over 10 years in hospice and palliative care, Amy began working and specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. Since then she has worked in all levels of care supporting clients of all ages with disordered eating, body image issues, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, self-harm/suicidal ideation, LGBTQ+ affirming therapy, trauma, and interpersonal conflict.

Amy is a board-licensed master social worker and received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver. She holds a certificate in Animal Assisted Social Work from the Institute of the Human Animal Connection and partook in the Professional Program in Eating and Weight Disorders at the University of California, Berkeley.

Amy’s goal is to provide a space for clients to find relief from negative/obsessive thoughts, restore health, resolve conflicted relationships, improve mood and achieve the life they desire. While sometimes therapy can be uncomfortable, Amy is gifted in building a trusting partnership with her clients. She has learned through experience that when this happens the possibilities for change can be endless.
