Stabilize the Body. Strengthen Recovery.

Advanced Medical Nutrition Therapy for Eating Disorders

When you work with Kristine Sinner, you are not receiving nutrition coaching or a general meal plan. You are receiving clinical Medical Nutrition Therapy delivered by a Registered Dietitian and Certified Eating Disorders Specialist trained to treat the medical consequences of eating disorders at the highest level of outpatient care.

Kristine’s role is to stabilize the body so recovery can actually happen.

Therapy addresses thoughts and behaviors. Psychiatry manages medication. Kristine treats the medical and physiological consequences of the eating disorder itself.

Malnutrition changes brain chemistry, heart rhythm, endocrine function, and metabolic stability. Without medical nutrition intervention, the body remains in survival mode. Recovery requires more than motivation. It requires clinical stabilization.

Kristine provides:

  • Formal nutrition assessment using validated diagnostic criteria
  • Clinical nutrition diagnoses with full PES documentation
  • Individualized caloric prescriptions and advancement schedules
  • Refeeding risk assessment and active management
  • Lab interpretation in the context of eating disorder physiology
  • Screening for 39 evidence-based medical safety protocols
  • Exercise contraindication evaluation and medical clearance coordination
  • Ongoing level of care assessment every session

What Makes Working With Kristine Different

Most outpatient nutrition appointments involve reviewing a food log and adjusting intake. That is not what happens here.

Kristine developed a comprehensive clinical documentation and safety system designed specifically for the complexity of eating disorder Medical Nutrition Therapy. Each session includes:

Hospital-Grade Documentation

A complete clinical SOAP note with formal nutrition diagnoses, protocol activation, and documented level of care.

Individualized 7-Day Meal Plans

Meal plans are built from accepted foods, clinical parameters, refeeding risk level, and medical prescription.

Whole-Team Coordination

Provider letters are sent to therapists, physicians, psychiatrists, and specialists after sessions.

Proactive Medical Safety Monitoring

Screens for evidence-based medical risk protocols including refeeding syndrome, cardiac risk, and more

Frequently Asked Questions

No. You may contact Kristine directly. If you already have providers, coordination begins after your initial session.

Kristine operates as an independent provider so she can deliver care without the constraints often imposed by insurance companies. This allows sessions to remain clinically driven, individualized, and thorough. Superbills are provided for reimbursement, and many clients receive partial coverage through their out-of-network benefits.

Many clients begin working with Kristine after stepping down from residential or IOP, or after prior outpatient therapy that did not include structured medical nutrition treatment.

Eating disorders exist on a spectrum. If food and your body are creating suffering or instability, evaluation is appropriate.
